A class 101 2-Car DMU slows to change tokens on the single track Cambrian line at Cemmes Road passing loop. This location was once the junction for the branch to Dinas Mawddwy but that closed in 1950 then Cemmes Road ceased to be a station when it too closed in 1965. The loop and signal box did remain until 1983 as a passing place on the single track line. The train seen here is the 16.10 Aberystwyth to Shrewsbury on October 25, 1980.
