An official Met-Camm image (negative DZ101) showing the centre saloon of a 79xxx series "Lightweight" DMBS before the floor is fitted at their Saltley Works. The two AEC 150hp engines can be seen, along with a myriad of conduit and pipes (air, vacuum and coolant). On these vehicles the radiator header tanks were in the guards van meaning more coolant piping (those seen with the flexible joints) than later Met-Camm vehicles.
