Class 100 DMU at Stirling

Details

The scene in the north end of Stirling station in 1972 included a three-cae GRC&W / Met-Camm set in the bay and a Met-Camm in the through roads to the left. Non-DMU interest includes the covered car transports on the left and the roofs of sleepers to the right. Comments to the image on flickr noted that these combined to form a Monday and Thursday car-sleeper service that ran overnight to Bristol and Newton Abbot.
