The passing loop at Borth, mid Wales is out of use, along with the station signalling (the distant signal is operated from the nearby level crossing cabin) by the date of this shot on 8th June 1977. The DMBS on the rear of Met-Camm formation on a service leaving for Aberystwyth has suffered some damage to the cab side.
