With the gable end of the terraced houses on Carr Street visible on the left, BRCW Class 104 Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) M53444 was accelerating away from Bamber Bridge with a Colne to Preston service on July 24th 1984. A view taken over the low wire fence in what was the then undeveloped former goods yard area at Bamber Bridge.
