An official image (Derby Works negative 57/621) showing inside a 'Motive Power Diesel Instruction Car' this being Model Car (DM395225). It contained mainly DMU components, some sectioned, and some diagrams on the wall explaining how they worked. The heater ducting under the table is for a Smiths heater on the left and steam heating on the right. Through the door at the far end was a Lister generator for power.
