An official photograph (Swindon Works negative MT/98) showing brand new Trans-Pennine Trailer First Buffet E59774 at Swindon Works. On the underframe is a paint date of 8-6-60 and a varnish date of 11-6-60. It would be allocated new to Neville Hill on 6-7-60. Note that the vacuum bags still have to be fitted.
