Class 101 Kingsknowe May 1984. A Glasgow Central to Edinburgh train arrives from the west. This was Edinburgh's only proper style road level crossing - the one at South Leith has a strange arrangement of gates and the one at Duddingston & Craigmillar went in the 60s when the freight line to St Leonard's closed. Sadly the box and traditional level crossing gates at Kingsknowe had had gone by the early 80s.
