Livery experiment. This official image (Derby Works negative 56/25) records a trial of warning markings on the front end of a Derby Lightweight vehicle circa February 1956. This is unlikely to be a new vehicle - there is signs of paint retouching just about the gutter, and a new vehicle would have a white cab dome at this time.
