The 14.13 Longbridge – Lichfield City sets off from Longbridge on its cross-Birmingham journey on 25 July 1987 formed of a class 116 unit comprising vehicles 53076, 59631 and 53118 (closest). The centre vehicle, a class 127 trailer, was one of only a handful of suburban DMUs still to retain its blue livery at this time.
