A busy scene at Upton by Chester Station (on the down line heading towards Hooton and Birkenhead) on the 27th of June 1970 as the local Sunday Schools 7-car dmu special is boarded prior to departure for Llandudno. Despite the weather looking good at this point it was pouring with rain in Llandudno and we ending up going to watch the Battle of Britain in the cinema to keep dry! It is formed of two 2-car Met-Camms (50208 possibly closest) with a GRC&W Cross-Country set in between.
