A Met-Camm publicity image (negative DZ169) showing the driver's compartment of DMBS E50227. The vehicle was new to Sunderland on 16 July 1959 and would always be a North Eastern vehicle, other allocations being South Gosforth, Neville Hill and Heaton. Withdrawn in March 1988 it would be cut at Vic Berry's the following year.
