Class 115 DMUs stabled outside Marylebone station - with Lisson Green housing estate under construction behind. The Class 115 DMUs were high density sets which operated the outer-suburban services from Marylebone to High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Banbury. They operated the line for more than 30 years, from 1960 to 1991. The Lisson Green estate, seen in the background, was designed in the 1960’s, and built between 1970 and 1975. The estate became a 'no go' area in the 1980s and 1990s. Taken with my basic Kodak Brownie using 120 roll film, circa 1975.
