A three-car Class 101 DMU at the closed Thornton Junction station in March 1972. Closed on 6 October 1969, two and a half years later not much had changed except for the weeds of course. If you look closely you can see that the footbridge no longer has any steps. 13 year old boys can sometimes be very foolish! But at least I took my camera with me!
