The drivers compartment of DMBS M51684, taken at Darnall presumably when new in August 1959. It was one of the 100 Cravens power cars fitted with Rolls-Royce engines, and one of the 50 of these with mechanical transmission, later known as a Class 112. Delivered to Newton Heath, it would also spend time at Gorton, Accrington and Cricklewood before withdrawal in 1968 after just over nine years in service.
