A Derby Works image (negative 57/600) showing Derby Lightweight DTCL M79643 in the progress of having a new front end fitted in mid-to-late 1957. It had been in a collision with a steam loco at Proof House Junction while working a Lichfield City to Birmingham New Street service on 19/12/56.
