A Class 101 Dalmeny, January 1969. You can almost feel the cold of this January day. When my parents friends came to visit they were invariably taken to see the Forth Bridges. To an 11 year old this was very boring as was an hour or so abandoned at Dalmeny to watch the trains - or lack of them. Back then it was much quieter than it is now and only DMUs to watch at that time on a Saturday afternoon.
