Details

In bottom gear and down to walking pace, a three-car Swindon Class 120 Cross-Country DMU formed of cars W50679, W59291 & W50727 was grinding its way to the summit of the Lickey Incline at Blackwell with a Worcester to Birmingham New Street service on September 5th 1981. These were stylish DMUs with a good internal layout and seats, and window curtains in the second class saloons.
