Two Birmingham RC&W Co. 3-car Local Passenger dmu's (Class 104) with the trailing unit being Nos.M50523 (Class 104/1), M59149 (169), M50443 (104/2) of the 1957 batch in BR Rail Blue livery with all yellow front end and white stripe (which signified a set with modified suspension specifically allocated to Blackpool services) passing Manchester (Exchange) - with the much loved but now closed Boddington's Brewery in the background - on a Manchester (Victoria) - Bolton - Blackpool service, 08/82. The carriage numbers were hurriedly taken at the time so may not be accurate!
