Two class 101/102 Met-Camm units form a Chester General to Woodside train at Rock Ferry. In 1965 when this photo was taken all local Birkenhead to Chester trains were diesel units. The Birkenhead to Paddington service remained steam hauled until the service ended on 5th March 1967.
