Image 9 (negative 8010.3850.9) of a set of 12 taken by the BRB Central Photograph Unit at Doncaster Works showing Leyland 680 150hp engines. The first nine feature a silver painted engine, this image is taken from the fluid flywheel end. The red bracket to the rear - along with links that will be bolted through the holes to either side of the fluid flywheel - were the main fixings to the underframe. All the fixings were through rubber bushes to allow movement, the damper and the small swing link also connected to the underfame to restrict that movement. Date taken unknown - possibly 1980?
