Image 12 (negative 8010.3850.12) of a set of 12 taken by the BRB Central Photograph Unit at Doncaster Works showing Leyland 680 150hp engines. The final three feature a grey painted 680/1 engine. This image shows the water pump end - the pump is lower centre, the Smiths object is a generator to send a signal to the tachometer in the cab to display the engine revs. Date unknown - possibly 1980?
