A BRC&W triple set forms the 1.34pm Cheadle to Stoke train seen at Cheadle (Staffs) on 18 May 1963. Passenger services were withdrawn from the station the following month, plans are underway to re-open it. The DMCL has Cresswell on the destination blind, this was where the four mile branch joined the Crewe - Derby main line.
