With its Buxton depot set board in the offside front cab window and trademark white cab roof, a Derby Class 108 three-car DMU formed of cars M52050, M59389 & M51943 was passing signal PN57 on the Up Fast at Farington Curve Junction, whilst working a Heysham Harbour to Stockport limited stop service on July 11th 1987.
