A Class 101 Metro-Cammell dmu arrives at Beverley on a Bridlington to Hull working. Note the closeness of the signalboxes. At this time the service on the Scarborough-Hull line got more frequent the nearer you got to Hull. The Scarborough service was irregular but around two hourly, with more trains between Hull and Bridlington and at times a half-hourly service between Hull and Beverley.
