55991 at Leicester. Date unknown, the number on the cab front appeared circa autumn 1987. By the end of March 1988 the vehicle was at Vic Berry's for asbestos stripping, this is likely en-route there from the Western Region. After stripping it went to Doncaster Works and emerged in the Royal Mail red livery.
