A pair of Cravens 2-car Class 105 dmu sets are an unusual sight approaching Chichester on 21 June 1986. This was 1Z27 Stevenage-Portsmouth Harbour and return, the "Vectis Velocipede" railtour. The two 2-car units consisted of vehicles 54122 + 53359 and 54442 + 51284. The route taken by the railtour was via Willesden HL, Kensington Olympia, Epsom and Leatherhead. Participants on the tour were given the option of visiting the Isle of Wight once they had arrived at Portsmouth Harbour, and sampling the railways on the island.
