Southport station on 21 May 1988. A pair of 2-car Class 108 dmus departs towards Wigan Wallgate and Manchester. I had been working in Southport this week, and decided to take a few photos before catching my train home. First I walked to"Steamport", the railway museum housed in the old steam depot. The route to Steamport involved crossing a long footbridge, where this photo was taken from.
