A Gloucester twin DMU at The Hawthorns station, and despite Manchester being on the destination blind this was the 12:15 Birmingham Snow Hill - Stafford service on Sunday 2 May 1965. The train was normally the 12:00 from New Street, but it was diverted from the Stour Valley due to electrification.
