W55033 ran through the stop blocks at Severn Beach Station and hit the side of the station building in early June 1980. Here it is seen some time afterwards on Bristol Bath Road depot. Repairs at Swindon Works would see it receive the cab roof dome of a 116 or 122 and in emerge in blue/grey livery in October that year.
