Future Class 122 Gloucester unit W55005 is crossing the main tracks at Birmingham Snow Hill. The destination blind says Dudley and the driver is at the controls nearest the camera, unfortunately the oil tail lamp from the previous run is still in place at the front. Perhaps W55005 was just crossing over to the more usual Dudley departure bay platform. The unit is in fresh darker green paint and has the original style exhaust in place. 08/05/1959.
