The clock on the tower at Scarborough says 10.55 and a lone four-car Class 110 dmu keeps the railway interest alive. To the right is the signal box controlling just the station area, beautiful cast iron abounds and the place is in a very good state of repair. On a Summer Saturday the station was very busy with loco hauled trains arriving from many destinations to this popular resort. Taken on 09/09/1974.
