The now-demolished chimneys at Stewartby dominate the landscape as Class 121 units 55031+55029 pass working the 10.50 from Bletchley on 24 August 1999. Both of these vehicles carried names at this time - 55029 was "Marston Vale" and 55031 was "Leslie Crabbe". Both vehicles later saw departmental use; 55029 became 977968 and 55031 became 977976.
