I took The Lakelander special from London Euston to Carnforth where steam took over from electric. While waiting for our stock to be brought in to the Furness platform by double-headed LNER A1 4-6-2 4472 Flying Scotsman & LNWR Hardwicke this Class 108 dmu on a service train to Carlisle via Barrow-in-Furness arrived.
