The 4.40pm Wolverhampton - Didcot semi-fast service climbs out of Leamington Spa on 8 May 1958. W50709, carrying coach letter A, leads the two Swindon Cross-Country sets. Micheal noted that this had been a regular DMU turn, along with the 8.40pm Wolverhampton - Oxford, since about mid-April.
