Heads are out on this Class 101 as it arrives into Tulloch station on 30 March 1974. This was an Oban - Mallaig DMU journey that had connected with a sleeper special from Leeds. On the return journey the unit overheated as it climbed by Loch Treig after leaving Tulloch, and it limped back to the station which is when this photo was taken. The passengers would transfer to the afternoon Fort William - Glasgow seen in the waiting, then by coach back to Oban.
