A Met-Camm/GRC&W hybrid passing the site of the current South Gyle station on 18 September 1967. Edinburgh Waverley is on the destination blind. The DMCL is in the darker Loco Green with revised lining, the centre car is in the lighter DMU green with original lining - both have cream first class stripes. The Gloucester DMBS is in an early version of blue livery, with the BR arrow on the car door and only a yellow panel, not a full yellow end.
