Former class 101 DMU was converted into a Network Rail Ultrasonic Testing Unit as class 901 and numbered 901001. It passes Abbotswood Junction at 19.25 on the 29th May 2007 working 4Z08, the 16.47 Derby RTC to BTM. The usual formation was 977391 and 977392 but added in the middle was 999602 at this time.
