Unfortunately this unhurried scene at Cheltenham Landsdown Road is undated but that in no way lessens the charm. The platform signal box has the windows open, so the sound of block bells and levers being pulled would be very audible. A green livery GRC&W Cross-Country dmu with small yellow warning panel is drawn up at platform 2. The date could be around 1964. Image taken by Peter Shoesmith.
