Banbury Merton Street was the archetypal little country terminus, perfectly proportioned and with an overall roof, sadly devoid of glass by the time of Peter's picture in October 1959. The Bletchley bound railcar is one of the Derby single cars either M79900 or 79901, the route will take it to Bletchley via Buckingham and Verney Junction. Image taken by Peter Shoesmith.
