BRCW Class 104 DMBS 53598 is the trailing power car in mixed Set 455 seen here leaving Prestwick station in August 1986. The wires are in place for the Ayrshire electrification which would go live the following month. The centre car is a Metro-Cammel vehicle (59090). A typically mixed set in the final fling of the DMU in Scotland.
