An everyday scene at Birmingham New Street in the early 1970s, trainspotters relax as the mundane sight of a DMU fails to excite. Peter never bothered to date diesel and electric pictures and this was more of a general scene anyway. I would suggest around 1972. Image taken Peter Shoesmith. In the foreground is likely a Class 116, the other is a Class 122 DTS.
