A London Midland Region image (negative N61/659) showing brake testing on a DMU underway in Derby Works in 1961, with a feed valve being connected to the two brake pipes. The 'cut' buffers and the 90 degree bend to the brake pipes on the headstock suggest this is a 115 or a 127. Note also the vertical weld on the buffer beam, which suggests a repair, possibly after a collision?
