Class 108 DMU at Leeds City

School outing.

Teachers from West Park County Secondary in Leeds chartered a train for 180 of their pupils on a trip to Goathland and Whitby, returning via Robin Hood's Bay and the coast line. The kids left the train at those three locations for rambles and explorations. The staff on the Blue Square Derby Lightweight DMU were Starbeck and a Hammerton Street drivers, and a Neville Hill guard, arrival back at Leeds was twenty minutes early. The image shows the passengers before departure from Leeds City station.
