Class 118 T317 (51329 + 59481 + 51314) was working from Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford-upon-Avon on 2 May 1988 when photographed passing Henley-in-Arden's outer home signal. I took the shot quite early because the light was dreadful and the exposure on 125asa FP4 was 1/125 at f2 on an Olympus OM1n. There is a footpath along the boundary fence here which in 1988 gave clear views from various spots but it's very different in 2026 with the line largely hidden by tree growth.
