An unidentified 2-car Class 101 set is seen stabled between duties in sidings beyond Fawcett Street Junction, south of Sunderland station, on 26/11/1983. It will form the next Sunderland-Newcastle service. The tracks at this location are now part of the Tyne & Wear Metro system extension to Sunderland.
