A Beverley - Hull train with E56052 leading passes the wooden crossing box at Thwaite Street in Cottingham on 19th October 1983. Although I lived most of my life in the village, this is the only photograph I have of the box which was demolished when control of the signalling and crossings was transferred to Hull.
