One of Buxton's allocated 3-car class 108 dmu's (unusually with a 101 center Car) is seen operating Peak Rail Rambler's Sunday only Buxton-Edale-Buxton service, which did about 3 return trips is seen rounding the curve at Chinley East Junc, heading towards Sheffield on the Hope Valley line on the 5th July 1987. The line the train is on is the freight only spur that leads to the quarries in the Buxton area.
