Passing New Mills South Junction signal box (still open June 2016), as seen from a Buxton allocated Derby built class 108 dmu, operating the Summer Sunday only Buxton-New Mills Cental-Buxton Peak Rail Rambler service. The three chimneys in the centre of the photo mark the the spot of the world famous sweet manufacturer and New Mills based Swizzels Matlow, whose brands include, which i'm sure we've all had, "Dumsticks", "Refreshers" and "Love Hearts" to name a few. 7th July 1985.
