Swindon Works class 120/2 motor second W50648 of a Cross-Country triple DMU set in blue and grey livery, in the company of class 31/1 31210 at the Cardiff Canton DMU and carriage sheds on 16th September 1979. The class 120 is from the first batch built, which had round as opposed to oval buffers. The Brush type 2 entered BR traffic in July 1960 as D5634 and is now to be found on the heritage Dean Forest Railway.
